The School of Life was established in 2008, the self-declared mission of the School is to “direct you toward a variety of useful ideas … guaranteed to stimulate, provoke, nourish and console.”
Their thinking draws on psychology, psychotherapy, philosophy, art and culture.
Book titles include ‘The Meaning of Life’, ‘On Confidence’, ‘A History of Ideas’ and ‘On Being Nice’. You can find more about the School of Life here https://www.theschooloflife.com.
The Book Club will be run by Tim Kirkpatrick, a local craniosacral therapist with an interest in psychology and philosophy. He is also an events volunteer at the Primrose Hill Community Association, and enjoys bringing the local community together for conversation and connection.
Every month we invite friends and neighbours to dine together, eat, drink and feel the relaxed and friendly vibes at Sam's Cafe. Join our mailing list for the next dates
